The Magnitude of problems from drugs addicts is too big, and at the same time it is a cumbersome for the Govt. alone to fight. Under this situation, the Govt. has called upon non-government organization to render its support.

The organization is working in the field of Drug De-Addiction since the year 1996.The Sanstha in collaboration with the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, Government of India is running a 30 bedded full-fledged Drug De-Addiction Centre at BastiVikas Kendra, Nand Nagri in North East District, Delhi which has been a success story.

The Sanstha has been associated in this field and adopting various measures such as distribution of pamphlets & leaflets, organizing seminars and group discussions, generating awareness campaigns visiting door to door of the dwellers etc. On the basis of information collected through door-to-door contacts, it can comfortably be stated that this type of abuse and alcoholism is nothing but a psycho-socio medical problem.
